Our different ministry groups—whether for men, women, youth, kids, seniors and mixtures of all — help people connect, grow, and find support in a way that reflects life has stages and seasons. Each one plays a part in building our wider community of faith, drawing us together around what really matters: following Jesus, side by side.

We believe families are a gift from God and play a vital role both in society and in the life of the church. At Cornerstone, we love creating spaces where children are welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow in faith alongside their families.
Our Cornerstone Kids program runs during the 9am service and is designed to nurture faith, friendship, and fun. Children join one of four age-based groups:
Explorers – 1 year to Pre-Kindy
Adventurers — Kindy to Grade 2
Navigators – Grade 3 to Grade 5
Voyagers – Grade 6 to Grade 8
Each group enjoys engaging activities, stories, and community time – helping kids discover who God is and how deeply they are loved. All volunteers hold current Blue Cards, and morning tea is included.
During school holidays, our programs take a break, and we enjoy “All In” Sundays, where children stay in the gathering with their families as we worship and learn together.
Cornerstone Youth is an engaging and exciting ministry focused on our young people!
We meet together every second Friday to build connections with others and deepen our relationships with God through engaging times of worship, spiritual input, games, and small groups.
We have a rich connection to the surrounding schools and youth groups in the north west of Brisbane, unified by regular combined nights, and an annual Combined Youth Camp. SMASH camp is a powerful week away in the September school holidays where we encounter God, build lasting friendships, and have an unforgettable time.
We normally meet from 6:30 – 9 pm every other Friday but the best way to stay in the loop is via our social media, @cornerstoneyouth__
Cornerstone Young Adults is a space for connection, growth, and authentic community. We gather every few months to share life over good coffee and food, build friendships, and explore what it means to follow Jesus as young adults. Whether it’s through meaningful conversations, faith-based discussions, or simply doing life together, our aim is to encourage one another and grow deeper in our walk with God.
We believe Life Groups can be the richest and deepest experience of Christian Community. It is about giving our faith expression in our everyday life. It’s about the general and the specific. It is a part of the natural rhythm of our everyday living in community. It is about being intentional and responsive in who we are here at Cornerstone as we sojourn in and with our community. It’s about adding value to the Sunday teaching by unpacking the teaching themes of the church as they intersect with people’s everyday lives.
Our Men’s and Women’s Ministries are all about friendship, encouragement, and doing life together. We get together three or four times a year to catch up, share stories, and build each other up in faith and everyday life. It’s a great way to stay connected and find people who’ll cheer you on along the way. We treasure being a church of many generations and value the wisdom and warmth that flows from those who’ve done a few more laps around the sun. Our Seniors Ministry is a wonderful space to connect, share stories, and enjoy life together. A highlight is our Monthly Morning Tea on the last Wednesday of every month – a relaxed time to catch up over a cuppa, share some laughs, and encourage one another.
